Matlab is a 3D/2D computation and visualization tool for technical computing. It was developed by Mathworks and first released in 1991. As of 2017, it was one of the most widely used programming languages in science, engineering, and industry. Matlab's syntax is based on scientific notation and reverse Polish notation (RPN) operators. Its expressions are typed into a Command Window that has input lines for user input and output lines for mathematical computation output. Although it is primarily intended for numerical computing, it can also be used to create graphs and models. It manipulates symbolic mathematical expressions using rules based on operator precedence. A matrix can be loaded into Matlab through the built-in command codice_1. MATLAB contains a matrix data type, "matrix", which is used to represent 2D arrays or multi-dimensional arrays. Matrices are rectangular arrays consisting of elements that are all of the same data type. The number of dimensions in a matrix is called its "rank". The number of rows is denoted by codice_2 and the number of columns, by codice_3. Elements are usually written by column (e.g. codice_4). Each row in a matrix is called a "vector" and each column is a "matrix". The elements in the rows correspond to the variables that are being calculated. The elements in the columns correspond to the results that can be computed from these variables, or constants depending on context. One-dimensional matrices have only one column, and two-dimensional matrices have two columns. A square matrix can be decomposed into a sum of square matrices whose dimensions add up to the square root of the original rank or dimensions. If this square root is less than 2, an identity matrix with 1's along the main diagonal will do. Only the diagonal of this matrix must be filled. If it is not, matrices will arise with non-zero lower left and upper right corner elements that will be multiplied by codice_5 and add to other non-zero elements of the matrix. The elements of a square (or rectangular) matrix correspond to the variables or constants. Each element is an array or scalar, depending on context. For example, in the following equation: Here codice_6 denotes a vector that has one value in every row and column, and codice_7 a vector that has two values in each row and column. The number of columns in a matrix M is denoted by codice_3 and the number of rows by codice_2 (the transpose is also equal to the rank). The elements of a matrix M can be accessed by: Matlab uses whitespace as a marker for where statements and function calls should go. Indentation is used to mark blocks or sections of code, and curly braces or parentheses indicate sections that should be executed (and such sections may also include statements such as if statements, loops etc.). Matlab uses semicolons to end commands. Since Matlab doesn't operate on files directly, files are read into memory at their full size. download matlab 6.1 free full version cfa1e77820
